The Snowman with a Plan

I've grown to seek creation's full potential, then proceed to go beyond its limits. If you're seeking quality assurance, I can multiply the end result's charm exponentially; that's my signature song and dance!

As a child, I always had that spark. I started young, around four years of age, by creating illustrated storybooks using spare computer paper around my parents' home. After I drew up the storyboard and illustrated the book, I'd often tell my folks what I wanted on each page. I got the point where story-booking became very technical.

As time passed, I was approaching middle school and began honing in on my ability to, "improvise design," as I'd like to call it nowadays. If I had ten characters for a comic or story, I'd have another hundred side characters on standby. Hell, I'd whip up fully fleshed-out ideas for games I'd want to make when I became a professional. By the time I reached middle school, I had well over five hundred characters conceptualized for at least five series of comics. Being young, the writing was sub-par, as expected for my age bracket. The next three years would be spent further building my character and writing technique.

High school hit the scene, and it was a trying time for sure. At this point, I was far beyond fantasizing games I'd make. The arts became secondary nature. Actually, it was almost pushed entirely out of my life, due to being focused on other troubling subjects and challenges. High school would definitely be within a top three list for the worst time spans of my life thus far, but I digress. I graduated within the Honor Society and was ready to tackle community college.

I pursued knowledge of my craft with an original focus on a Game Design degree before swapping over. The college I chose had a terrible program, so I swapped to Graphic Design after a semester, being able to carry most credits over without a hassle. If I had to pick... Color Theory, Computer Design, and Motion Graphics were my peak performance classes, being so far into the program. This, sadly, was also my most trying time. There were moments of self-doubt, and worse actions/thoughts, for the duration of the second half of my two-year degree. I graduated in May of 2019 with my Associates degree in Graphic Design, at least four scholarships under my belt from the duration of those past couple of years; they tally up to at least $2,000. As of yet, I have not finished my other two years to earn a Bachelors degree due to financial instability. I am currently unsure if I will earn that degree, for that matter.

For the longest time, I was unsure of my worth, working freelance for at least two years. That changed when I started receiving paid commissions, however, I was still extremely cheap and cost effective. This did allow for manipulation to take place within my life for a good while. Again, I woke up and began taking this whole thing seriously. It was time to treat this like a legitimate business.

I will do everything in my power to build a personal relationship with you, because I want to earn your trust. Mediocrity is a word that will not be implied when you hire me. There is, however, always room for improvement, as no one is perfect. The best we can do, however, is work together to land the dart as close to the bulls-eye as humanly possible.

What do you say we make this happen? I sincerely thank you for reading my rambles. If you want to request some work, return to the home page and hit me up! I'm looking forward to making this thing, "our," thing... maybe even a repeating thing!
